Rencontres Théâtrales en Méditerranée

The Company les Charmilles organized from 26 December 2014 to 2 January 2015, in Côtes d'Armor, cooperatively with the Departmental Federation of Youth and Culture Houses of Côtes d'Armor France, the Tunisian Association of Theatre Forum and the Italian company Teatro in Rivolta, the cultural project "Rencontres Théâtrales en Méditerranée ". Twelve young people and their accompagnying from each country will exchange as part of a theatrical practice on the theme of encounter the other and travelling led by professional supervisors. This sojourn will be largely devoted to the issue of meeting between young coming from different cultures and horizons through the situation of illegal immigration , travelling and exile. The final objective of this trip is to collectively create an artistic and poetic form based on testimonials and present it to the public. Each group is constituted as follows : - 10 youth for : collecting testimonies from residents , writing workshops , theater workshops, physical and vocal expression workshops. - 1 young for : video capture , editing and producing a video documentary and a daily newspaper. - 1 young journalism for writing a daily published in digital and paper format . In accordance with the objectives of education for human rights and intercultural education , we fit particularly in the social pillar of sustainable development as well as its cross-cutting objectives (spatial and temporal solidarity ) - Promote citizenship and the involvement of young people in civil society in their respective territories - Promote access to culture and media - Foster mutual understanding and research of living together. For this we will rely on the sharing of experiences of the participants, the meeting of organizations, methods of active cooperation (in the workshops and in everyday life). Exchanges and trainings (human and technical) will be at the service of collective quest for a better "living together" in the world.
