The Mediterranean has always been the “theater” of shared experiences, practices and cultures and a place in which to trade goods, knowledge and skills. ECUME Marseille, and its partners, ECUME Tunis, ECUME Séville and Musicaround will be pleased to host a meeting of young actors through the next session which will be held from November 8th to 16th 2015. All young participants will work together and share their experiences and their visions of theater. The Tunis workshops will be the culmination of preparatory work carried out by each participant in a theoric and practical research around the theme of: Waiting and expectation! The meeting of Tunis will enable young actors from six mediterranean countries to compare their methods of work, to develop a joint work through the various activities supervised by professional theater : workshops, interactive debate, public representation. By basing its actions on the principles of sharing, tolerance and diversity the event aims to promote, through theatrical creation, the practice of foreign languages and the discovery and understanding of different cultures. Thanks to this new meeting, ECUME is pursuing its mission of Mediterranean cultural exchanges offering young creators a platform for training and creation which we hope will meet their aspirations and live up to their expectations.
