Background in recent years Berufsreifeprüfung has become one of the most important factors for the acquisition of educational qualifications and VHS Wien has contributed a main share. We strive in the spirit of equal opportunities to target groups that do not so easily find access to education in general. The theme of inclusion is at the center of our efforts. In the second part of the application “community development” VHS Wien also has extensive experience : Volkshochschulen are anchored in their districts . We see education as an integral and important part of the urban development and are convinced of the campus idea how it is implemented in Vienna in new neighborhoods.
