Municipal Nursery School belongs to Tijarafe, on the island of La Palma, Canary Islands Tijarafe agriculture being predominant. It is located west of the island of La Palma, predominantly rural and enjoys both sea and mountain areas of mediocrities. It has a population of 2700habitantes, with a percentage of 20% foreigners being mainly Western European and South American.The nursery school currently has 22 students divided into two classes:* 0-2 years (full and with waiting list)* A classroom of 2-3 years (where three seats are filled). 77% of children born in 2013 in the city are enrolled in this class, a high level of schooling for one cycle (the 0-3) is not required. This data indicates on one hand the need of the population of the municipality of this school, and secondly, good acceptance by the population of the management and operation of this.Noteworthy that of the 22 current students 27% have parent or both of foreign origin, a high percentage, which leads us to contemplate in daily school activity aspects that take into account the migrant's attention.As for the staff, the school consists of an assistant, two technicians from kindergarten (one tutor per class) and a teacher (principal).- The project will involve: -Director of the Municipal Nursery School: Master degree in Psychology and Master in Management of nursery schools. His experience in education ranges from junior kindergarten (0-3 years) to the elderly (over 65), imparting training in both public and private institutions. Advanced Placement courses in English Language School. Currently working at our center as a manager and responsible for the organization and direction of the Infant School, he has worked over three school years in this center providing experience in organizing Etwining projects with various countries throughout Europe with the aim of share and improve skills and teaching skills. Responsible for organizing host four teachers, participants of Erasmus + Ka1 three kindergartens in the municipality of Norrkoping, Sweden, for observation and good practices.- Councillor for Social Affairs and Education of the City of Tijarafe, as manager of the Municipal Nursery School Tijarafe, in its commitment to innovation and improvement of educational quality Infant School. He is a member of the education committee of the FECAM (Canarian Federation of Municipalities), member of the School Council of the Canary Islands, and within it, is part of the permanent commission.The objectives to be achieved with the following project:- Achieve an organization of times and spaces of the appropriate school .:- Improve the process of learning and teaching methods.- Improving the educational environment:- Implemetar Documentation Media:The activities take place in our projects are:Pay special attention to the planning of activities, observation and documentation media reflection of the educational activities of the center. During the stay the participants will follow the principal and teachers in kindergarten Parks Förskola, in their daily work in order to observe the different activities of the day, including the interior and the exterior of the school. Likewise, the training course on pedagogy Reggio Emilia in Italy, will complete the theoretical part of our training.So in the following sections we describe other impacts of this project:Area-Education of the City of Tijarafe, this project will inspire new activities of educational improvements, not only in our center, also at other levels, such as training for parents of all educational levels Tijarafe, organizing courses for all personnel concerned with education, training not only open to Tijarafe benefit but also seeing other people on the island of La Palma,- Mothers and fathers, active participants in the activities of our school benefited from a new educational perspective to develop new skills in their children in their homes they will be.- Boys and girls, favoring the development of creativity, ideas, games, exploration and learning achieving its full and personal development.-Director Of the nursery, along with technical education in our school child acquire skills in learning environments, both carried out inside the school and outside, materials, media registration daily activity, evaluation, awareness of their role as a teacher.
