Our Project began with the agenda of the question "Why don't the children think creative in the classroom?" in 2014-2015 Academic Year Teachers Council Meeting. In order to meet this need, learning educational approaches and practices applied in European Union countries,integrating them into our training program and achieving European standarts is aimed. With this project,through improving the skills in creative thought, children who are learning how to learn,curious,inquisitive,questioning,exploring will be educated . In the technology age when creative thinking skills are ignored, this project is aimed at raising children who can find solutions to their own problems by using these skills and with high self esteem and are happy. The number of staff participating in the course is 3 in our project. They consist of individuals who are open to change,follow up the developments related to the field of education closely, believe in the necessity of pre-school education.With this project, the Participants aim to enrich the educational process to improve the language competence and create a learning environment in European standards by evaluating the best practices carried out in Europe. the Participants have attended seminar and conferences so as to improve their creative thinking skills as well as taking part in many local, national and international projects. Our course to be held in Bologna,Italy is based on Reggio Emilia approach that develop creative thinking skills in early childhood.The course consists of the following activities: -Learning pre-school approaches to support creative thinking skills -Visit to 2 local schools. -Observation of Reggio Children’s Centre -Workshops -Daily evaluation hours. The selected participants for this course are to fulfil the pre-tasks which will be sent by the course provider.In the process of preparation,organization will be in contact with the course provider, and information from the consultants appointed about transportation,accommodation and course contents will be received. The improvement will be observed by the evaluation tests before and after the course, written and oral feed back will be given by the consultants. At the end of the course, early childhood teachers and students will be encouraged with synergy and interaction in different fields of education and training. New ideas will be developed and it will go beyond passive programs by stimulating co-operational forms. Having carried out this project, Children will develop their creative thinking skills as future European citizens, Mutual co –operation will advance and the number of high quality students, teachers and projects in european standards will increase, as well.
