Date du début: 1 sept. 2014, Date de fin: 31 août 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

“Viewpoints and exchange of practices on vocational training for careers in early childhood” project is a result of an interactive and collective thinking which involved many stakeholders. In that respect, it was established a project team consisting of professionals from EPL la Martellière from Voiron (France), Vocational School from St Marcellin (France) and Regional Vocational Training Center (Rhone-Alpes, France) who joined their forces with partners from Turkey, Sweden and Romania. The project is conceived bearing in mind the global perspective and active involvement of schools (professionals and trainees), local representatives, childcare organizations and university researchers. This is a two-year mobility project that will start in September 2014 and will end in September 2016. There are 2 files to be submitted by that period (Key Action 1 and Key Action 2). The general objectives of the first phase of the project, i.e. Key Action 1, which takes place from September 2014 to September 2015 are defined taking into account the needs of different actors involved in childcare system. It is based on several different objectives: 1) To scan and discus different socio-economic policies in four countries involved in the project 2) To provide an insight into different systems of organization in Vocational Training Centers for Childcare matters 3) To evaluate the availability of jobs in childcare and the extent to which this type of education provides social inclusion (integration in the world of work) for the trainees 4) To comprehend the functioning of Childcare centers on local level This part of the project refers to the School heads, school administration, teachers and childcare professionals. Therefore, it is planned that total of 48 individuals are going to visit a partner country with previously listed objectives (French professionals will be hosted in Sweden, Turkey and Romania) Two types of activities are projected: 1) Monitoring and observation in Vocational Training Centers (training and teaching methods, discussion about possible innovations, management challenges, role and function of administration) 2) Observing the structure and functioning of childcare organisations (which will be the work placement organizations for French trainees) with accent on their role in social inclusion. In order to run this project appropriately, we use different tools for project management, timetables, Gantt chart ect..which allows us to achieve a good coordination and respect the deadlines. We have set up different protocols with our partners in order to smooth the progress of this project: mandate between the partners, attendance sheets for the meetings, validation of mobility protocol, qualitative evaluation of mobility programs, monitoring during the entire process of mobility. All partners are devoted to respect the procedures as well as alternative plans in case of unforeseen circumstances. Furthermore, the Key Action 2 is inevitable to have a final result of this project. In fact, all the data collected during the first phase (Key Action 1) will be a key support for a Conference about Childcare matters in Voiron. For this occasion, the participants will have to elaborate their notes and analysis. This collective work will be published in professional reviews. The schools and Vocational Training centers will also take benefits from mobility project by taking possibility to improve their teaching methods and managing capacities. There will be a report containing all the observation data that will be presented to all the participants during the plenary sessions. The objective is to exchange the examples of good practice for take advantage of it. The relationships between professionals and local representatives will be enforced during the Key Action 2. In the long run there will be multiple benefits from the project such as: 1) Possibility to update and enrich existing teaching methods 2) Potential innovation of teaching methods 3) Creating a international network of Childcare professionals 4) Proposing a work placement possibilities for trainees and students in partner countries 5) Intercultural exchange 6) Enforcing of relations between French and foreign schools and Vocational Training Centers 7) Valorization of different players involved in Childcare matters
