The 'Regal' project will develop ITC methods for continuous professional development for personnel in the real estate state sector. The project will develop an ITC corporate professional knowledge base and a network to support on-line, on-the-job, distance postgraduate-level continuing professional development for real estate professionals. The expected outcomes are:° ITC tested training materials: the equivalent of one module (eight weeks study) of the current accredited postgraduate diploma. These will consist of work web activities (tutored individual and group distance training) drawing upon the electronic resource of European case studies in property development and investment. The materials will be available in Dutch and English language versions. Upon completion of the project they will be available for use in training organisations.° An electronic guide to professional mentoring, tutoring and assessment to be used by the professional bodies and universities.The ITC Framework: the corporate professional knowledge network for tutoring and mentoring continuous professionals in the real state business. The commitment of the partners' professional bodies in this project is vital to ensure that the project results are effectively followed through, in particular the professional requirements to engage in continuous professional development.
