As a part of an innovative corporation, we, the training department constantly seek for renewal and improvement. This includes new outlines of professions and the optimal usage of didactical methods to transfer knowledge. Since we are an international company, the English language is commonly used within our departments. The Erasmus+ program is an excellent opportunity to improve on our language skills and competence. Furthermore we wanted to extend the understanding and tolerance towards other cultures. We encouraged our apprentices to deal with foreign cultures and especially their own culturally characterized behavior. To be able to work at a international working environment, the apprentices do need a competent, respectful and encouraging behavior with other cultures. There we saw the opportunity to improve a learning field, where we can teach intercultural and international professional competences. Moreover, the foreign training periods served to extend the professionalism of the apprentices. In addition, adaptable using was practiced by already available expertise's in other working surroundings and was applied. Acquired knowledge had to be documented, comparisons are provided to be able to determine, perhaps, new attempts for own enterprise, or to be prepared for general changes of the education. After a comprehensive preparation (organizationally, personally, linguistically and in subject) the apprentices will finish a linguistic course in the first week in Great Britain. Following that the apprentices begin the 6-week industrial placement. The self-sufficiency was complementary to the abovementioned contents another essential component of the mobility phase. The Countries our apprentices went to were Great Britain, France and Spain. A part of the apprentices, attempted a linguistic course in the company (for the preparation) or also an additional linguistic course suburb. It were involved dismal apprentices of the following professional guilds to collect a very wide spectrum of experiences: - industrial mechanic - procedure mechanic in plastic and rubber technology - Technical product designer - Expert for logistics - Industrial manager / woman with additional qualification international economic management and foreign languages All participants preserved from us the europassport mobility, as well as the confirmation of the participation in the education report. As in our present delegations professional abilities have not been improved in all sent professional guilds and there are positive examples here also over and over again. The focus lies more in the foreign-language competence which was improved with all, as well as in the sensitization of the young people for intercultural situations also the readiness for other applications was clearly increased abroad.
