Razvoj individualnih potencialov učencev
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

We have decided to apply for Erasmus+ mainly because we want to improve our work with special needs children and gifted children, introduce new methods of teaching and we want to share our knowledge with other teachers. We would also like our teachers to improve their proficiency of the English language and gain valuable experiences on an international level. Our project will help us stay abreast of all the up-to-date developments in the field of ICT and education in general. Three teachers will attend courses abroad (Math and Physics teacher, an English teacher and special needs teacher). They are all active in different projects at our school. Petra Matkovič is an English teacher at Vide Pregarc primary school in Ljubljana. She took part in an international Comenius project dealing with ecology and ICT. She is also an active member of the school council, different projects such as The Eco School Programme, The Healthy School Programme, the school development planning committee and the school’s e-team. She also actively participates in different international conferences (SIRIKT, VIVID) where she presents papers on the usage of ICT in education. She uses ICT in class extensively (power point, interactive whiteboard, e-classrooms, web 2.0 applications) and in this way tries to motivate her pupils to learn English in a different way. This course would help the teacher to develop professionally and to learn how to implement m-learning in a new and innovative way. She will also be able to exchange her ideas and experiences with other teachers. Katja Kodelja is a Math and Physics teacher at Vide Pregarc primary school in Ljubljana. She is also an active member of school council, different projects such as The Eco School Programme, The Healthy School Programme, the school development planning committee and the school’s e-team. She uses wikis and interactive whiteboards extensively in her lessons. She attended many ICT seminars and used the newly acquired skills to motivate her pupils. Instead of written homework she uses wikis and email to give her pupils homework, they also watch different educational videos online, use Excel and Power Point to present and organize seminar papers. Sonja Salajko is a special needs teacher in primary school. She helps special needs children with day to day learning, with overcoming specific learning disabilities, organization of their work and socialization. She coordinates the team which deals with special needs children. She prepared several presentations for the school staff and also presented papers at international conferences. She attends seminars and wants to deepen her knowledge in her field of expertise. She would like to share her knowledge with other teachers abroad and improve her language skills. The teachers who will attend the courses abroad will share their knowledge with other teachers in Slovenia. They will prepare classes and workshops for other teachers at our school, but the main aim is to use this knowledge in class and motivate our pupils to become more innovative and successful at school and beyond. One of our objectives is also to find strategic partners for our future international projects where everybody at our school could get involved. We believe that the teachers involved in this project will improve their language skills and gain a closer insight into the culture of their host country. Teachers will also gain confidence in their ability to use a wide range of different tools and methods for educational purposes. They will be able to create learner-centered materials for their own contexts. They will also be more knowledgeable, confident teachers as well as more fluent users of English.
