Razem możemy lepiej
Date du début: 15 juil. 2016, Date de fin: 14 sept. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project "Razem możemy lepiej" ("Together we can do better") is aimed at improvement of the quality of education in our school and modification of the European Development Plan of our school. We carry it out in the team of foreign language teachers - French and English - among whom there are three teachers with long teaching experience and two who have just started their career in the profession. Together we have seen the need of raising the importance of teaching and learning foreign languages and promoting -both among students and teachers of our school - multilingualism and lifelong learning. Our school has participated in international students' exchanges, but we would like to learn how to manage such projects better, and prepare for this our younger colleagues, and having acquired experience at the courses, other teachers in our school, who do not participate in trainings. We also see the need of improving team work and collaboration between teachers in our school. Being foreign language teachers we would like to learn and practise the latest methods and tools, such as communicative approach or CLIL, used in FL teaching, in order to improve our methods and transfer that to the results of education and attractiveness of the educational offer and increase competitiveness of our school in the market. We realise how important - and emphasised by the European Commission in its educational priorities - are key competences, therefore we would like to improve ours so that we could effectiveley train and develop them in our students. We see the need to strengthen the European dimension and EU values in the modified European School Development Plan, which this project will contribute to thanks to the possibility of finding international contacts, exchanging experience and learning with and from people coming from various cultural backgrounds. This will also contribute to strengthening multicultural competences among the teachers and promoting them among students in their teaching practice. Participation in the project, and especially the mobilities, will prevent older teachers from suffering from routine and professional burnout, and increase attractiveness and perspectives of the job in the eyes of the younger colleagues.
