The aim of the project is to develop methodology and guide for the effective realization of rapid learning courses in SMEs and big companies. It addresses a problem of the efficient use of e-learning methods in companies. Rapid e-learning is based on a short training modules conducted using dedicated tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline or Lectora. It responds to a growing demand to provide more relevant and attractive learning opportunities for companies. The compact structure of rapid learning modules makes the process of learning easier: knowledge is provided in small doses and the content is concrete. From the user's perspective, one deals with more flexible model of learning (in contrast to classic e-learning, there are no dozens or hundreds screens of presentation). It’s also easier for user to find time to develop necessary competencies. Thanks to rapid learning implentation, employee's efficiency could substantially increase. The challenge, however, is a proper preparation and implementation of such solutions in the company. Another challenge is to manage the whole process of rapid learning. Rapid learning is efficient , but it has to be administered by really conscious person. We have to also remember that companies operate in some constant environment therefore existing tools have to be next to new one in the form of blended learning. The project seeks to support European businesses and organizations in adoption of Rapid e-learning system. It’s main target are small and medium-sized companies (employees and employers), as well as big companies, corporations and HR managers. The consortium of the project consists of 4 organizations from Poland, Slovakia and Hungary: Nowoczesna Firma S.A., Fundacja Obserwatorium Zarządzania, HIC Slovakia and TREBAG. The main results of the project will be: - Rapid e-Learning Methodology version 1 and 2 - it will consist of chapters related to: Analysis - about getting to know the organization and preparation of "road map”, containing various implementation scenarios, including the potential measurable effects; Realization - including basic information about creating a popular form of rapid learning; Implementation - includes ways of implementation of rapid learning tools in company, based on the analysis of existing situation); Evaluation - focuses on measuring the effectiveness of changes, it should contain several methods. ; Corrections - the reader should know how to do it and how it affects the whole process. Second version will be updated taking into consideration opinions gathered during pilot phase, seminars and partners' remarks. - Rapid e-Learning Guide vesrion 1 and 2 - it will contain practical information about the use of Rapid e-learning. It will provide a review of rapid e- learning solutions and examples, as a handy guide and reference for anyone interested in implementing Rapid e-Learning in company. Second version will be updated taking into consideration opinions gathered during pilot phase, seminars and partners' remarks. -Rapid e-learning course -Training programme and training materials for practical workshops - Case studies based on implementations in companies in each country Project goals are: • To create a method to implement rapid learning in the company, which on the one hand will affect the whole process of the team development and on the other hand won’t disrupt work in the company • To foster the understanding of the use of rapid learning • To promote the use of rapid learning among companies • To disseminate results of the project towards medium sized and big companies The main activities in the project are: desk research about using rapid learning in each country and identification of good practices, preparation of Rapid e-Learning Methodology and Guide (version 1 and 2), organization of 2 seminars aimed at evaluting and disseminationg the intellectual outputs, practical workshops in each country, implementations of rapid e-learning in companies and preparation of case studies based on it. Desired impact of the project is: broaden the knowledge about rapid e-learning; delivery an effective framework for rapid e-learning for small, medium-sized and big enterprises; increase the awareness of a need for rapid e-learning and improvement of organization’s competitiveness. This will lead to longer term benefits, such like increase in staff efficiency, reduction of time for trainings inside companies, lower costs of trainings in companies. Next potential long term benefit is to make rapid e-learning more popular in partners' countries and influence on its development.
