Raising Awareness of Lifelong learning strategies
Date du début: 1 févr. 2011,

The Hungarian lifelong learning strategy promotes concept that individuals can take up learning at any stage in their lives (lifelong), they can take up any form of learning (lifewide) and there is a constant pressure to learn in a knowledge-based society (learning society). In the past 4 years a discussion has been started on the implementation of the LLL strategy but the implementation still needs to be carried out.Present proposal aims at surveying stakeholders in specific fields of education and to facilitate them to start discussion on different issues.Hungary has delegated members to the OMC thematic groups in the following areas:Modernisation of Higher Education, Assessment of Key Competences, Development of key competences, Languages and employment, Early language learningThe above thematic groups apply the 'Open method of Coordination' to help Member States to reflect upon their own and each others’ polices in the context of European cooperation, and to learn from other countries' practices. This project aims at the dissemination of the results of the thematic groups and to deliver information to the stakeholders of lifelong learning concerning their own sectors and fields of interests. To reach the above mentioned aims TPF will create fora: organise workshops, round table events, prepare information brochures, web page, etc. to transfer information and to exchange experience and good practices. The activities will be held in national level (regional and local), mostly organised in the countryside of Hungary to better reach target groups. The target groups will be involved from different sectors, different regions and different social groups to ensure social access and inclusion.Due to the planned activities on short term TPF intends to raise awareness of lifelong learning strategies, to promote coooperation and partnerships among stakeholders, on long term to support the improvement of the quality of education and training, and to enhance motivation in lifelong learning.
