PROJET
TERMINÉ
Radio Forum " E-volution " will be an online media that will discuss and explore the current problems in the society and particularly the problems related to young people. With radio debates, live connections and connections via social media people will share good practices related to defending the civil rights and civil society support. Our goal is to find a maximum number of different opinions toward a specific topic and try to involve in the discussion people with a completely different social, economical, ethnical, geographical background. We will try to overstep the regional and national limits in the radio work and we'll try to follow European horizons in it. Just right in the beginning of the radio we will make some broadcasts in English and later in more languages, depending on the people that work as volunteers in the radio at the moment. Furthermore our team will try to involve in the radio work some local volunteers that our organization usually works with. A very important part of the project are the EVS volunteers, which we believe will expand Radio Forum with their ideas and enrich it because of their personal experience and cultural identity. During the various activities we will rely on their alternative viewpoint independent of the surrounding environment. Total project participants will be 3 EVS volunteers and at least 2 volunteers from the local community aged between 18 to 30 years. All the time during the project we'll try to keep the gender equality, something that is good and important in general for better development of the Radio Forum . Within a few courses at the beginning of the project the volunteers will be introduced to the nature of journalistic work and particularly online radio work. Because all the activities by themselves are associated with communication, the EVS volunteers on arrival will start a course in Bulgarian language, which in a few months will enable them to communicate with the local people. They will be given some training in music editing and editing audio files - activities that are directly linked to the work in a radio. We will support the participants in their first steps as radiospeakers, until they begin to host their own radio broadcast. All training will be based on the methods of formal and non-formal education basicaly as an enjoyable and easy way to acquire new knowledge and skills. These methods will also be used to involve the participants in the project to the organization's team . The main result that we expect from Radio Forum "E-volution" is the existence of a big radio site that can offer to its users the opportunity to exchange ideas, that can be a field in which they can freely express their opinion, inspiration and good practices on issues that concern them. One of the results which we will try to reach and we believe that we have the potential to do it is to make the radio a channel for creating new partnerships among the EU organizations. On the other hand, this will be a place where young people are able to find some more information about the current opportunities for them. In the long run we see the Radio Forum as a possible powerful tool that facilitates the development of the civil society in the country.
