The training of tomorrow's industry leaders requires a more effective integration of education in business and S&T. This signals a need for greater corporate involvement in curricular development.Broad Strategic Objectives:- Improve the education of leaders in S&T HEI, and in doing so, enhance the quality of graduates entering industry and entrepreneurship.- Launch a revolution in higher education methodology, content and organization to better respond to the needs for progressive and sustainable industry in the EU (2009 Review EU SDS).Since its foundation in 2002, ENQHEEI has created a Quality Charter which has been adopted by stakeholders, and QUESTE - a quality management system that has been piloted in a number of S&T HEI. A new online version of QUESTE SI quality system will lead the test institutions through an assessment process which emphasizes a pro-active dialogue with technological business and industry.Intended Results:- The development of sustainability syllabus in S&T educational programs, parallel to those developed by EFMD for Human Resources & Management Education. - Enhancement of the quality, effectiveness, and continuity of institutional efforts to engage with industry, through the use of an interactive online Quality assessment system.Impact:* Create an active network of prominent universities for the exchange of ideas on quality improvement and curricular development.* Greater visibility and career opportunities for graduates of participating institutions. * Provide an informed response to studies performed by the EUA, EIT and OECD on the career development of engineers
