Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Escuela de Escritores 2015-2016 european development plan was carried out throughout five main activities: three teachers from Escuela de Escritores went to Belgium, Italy, Austria and Finland to teach workshops; one teacher was abroad in the UK to complete her development, and one of the members of the directive board was invited to a literary meeting, also in Belgium. The activities and the profiles of the involved participants where: A1. COURSES AND TRAINING STAFF A1.1 – Course for Creative Writing teachers and tutors in Centre for New Writing, Leicester University (UK): one teacher member of the pedagogical comitee of Escuela de Escritores took part in this course to study the british methods of introducing Creative Writing teaching as part of their educative system, and the kind of preparation their teachers get. UK is an international reference in the Creative Writing teaching field: there are several universities offering Creative Writing as a superior grade. One of the main goals of Escuela de Escritores is achieving that institutional level in Spain. A1.2 – Pedagogical and literary meeting in Schrijfdag (Belgium): created by Creatief Schrijven school, Schrijfdag is an international event about teaching Creative Writing. Creatief Schrijven, the hosting institution, invited one member of the directive board of Escuela de Escritores to take part in this meeting, creating the opportunity to exchange ideas about good practices and pedagogical references. The meeting will also be a main to evaluate the convenience of organizing a similar meeting in Madrid. A2. TEACHING MOBILITY A2.1 - Course in Creatief Schrijven (Belgium): Creatief Schrijven invited, also in Belgium, two teachers from Escuela de Escritores to start a continuing cooperation: one to take part as a docent in the Shrijdfag meeting (activity developed through Erasmus Plus), and one to teach a 16 hours course in that school next year. Some scheduling problems in the hosting institution prevented the organization of that course this year, but it will be done next year. A2.2 – Course in Vienna Poetry School (Austria): The institution invited one of our spanish for foreigners specialized teachers to give a course to Spanish speaking participants who have lost contact and fluency in their mother. This institution, in turn, sent one of their teachers to give an acoustic poetry course in our installations in Madrid. A2.3 – Scuola Holden Course (Italy): Last, to consolidate the exchange started with Scuola Holden (Italy) during last two years, one of our teachers, specialized in Foster Wallace, was sent to give a monographic course to their writing alumns. A3. JOB SHADOWING A3.1 – Orivesi College of Arts (Finland): we sent one of our teachers to study Risto Ahti, Finland more prominent poetry teacher and one of the most important living poets in the continent. Poetry as a genre is not very developed in Escuela de Escritores , so after the pedagogical exchange we will be able to incorporate a new workshop for this area for our alumns. Summarizing, through these experiences we have consolidated an Spanish project having European identity described in intercultural and intergenerational dialogue values, also in cooperation, collaboration and creativity values we hope we will strengthen, renovate and make deeper in a continuous internationalization program for the education of adults in Spain and the rest of Europe. Through the active and remarkable participation in this kind of projects, Escuela de Escritores has made its leadership solid inside the EACWP (European Association of Creative Writing Programs), which is currently presided by Escuela de Escritores and groups more than 25 schools and universities in 15 european countries, and which was augmented last year with the addition of NAWE (National Association of Writers in Education), which groups Creative Writing teachers in most of schools and universities in UK.
