Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

We have participated in both Leonardo and Erasmus+ projects before. Both students and teachers experienced this verys succesful. The students shas got a better knowledge of all kinds, personal, cultural, social, and spesific topics which they study. That is why with aply again. This project includes 12 students whos going to stay two weeks in Estonia. They are all in their second year in highschoool where they do vocational training as health workers or as child and youth worker. The name of our school is Kristen videregående skole, Trøndelag. The school is located in Trondheim and has about 500 students. There is about 90 students doing vocational training, the rest is having an ordinary highschool. Is is a problem with dropouts in high school. That is why students with special needs, thinking about dropping out or struggle with motivation has a priority toghether with students who plan to start as a trainee after this year. It is a problem both in kindergartens and healthinsitutions that too many do not have an education / profession before they start working. But not everybody needs to have a universitydegree. Taking part in this project we do hope will help the students to make a good decission for themselves for what do next year. Start as a trainee or continue another year in highschool preparing for the university. Most of the time the students will be practicing in a longtermhospital in Tallinn and kindergarten in Tapa. Here they will be working and supervising by the staff. It is important that the students work with the staff so they can learn about similaryties and differences. In this way we can learn from eachother. The students will aslo be able to visit other instituions like nursinghome for disabled people, district hospital, emergency child care institution, youth club. To helt the students to understand Estonia and how they take care of children, old people, people with special needs or people who are ill they need to know about the history and culture. We do give them information different places like the Norwegian embassy, socialoffice, churches, museums, highschool and sightseeing. We have chosen these places because we have learned before that they give good information in a very good way for our students who are around 17 years old. This information do no only give them necessary background, it also turns out to be a kind of pracitical education in subject like humanities and english. The learn that is useful in their practice in Estonia, and also meets some requirements in their curricullum. During practice and visits they also learn what skills they need to have to work in and another European country as f.ex Estonia. Or what do they need to work in Norway It is important that the students after finishing the project experience that education is important. We try to let the students keep in mind that "learning by doing" is important. The need to use f.ex english for more than pass an excam, they need it to communicate every day. During the stay the students tells about their experiences through, by using the website of our school, blogg and Instagram. After they have returned they will tell about the project to other students in school and a primary school close to us. The teacher following them will tell about the possibilites such a projects give the students to collegues in our schools and in the region. All the way from preparation, through the mobility and rework after the stay abroad is important. We want to give the students lifelong learning. Our goal is that when they have to use english, or even has to use bodylanguage, bescause someone do not understand enything but estonian or russian, they experience that language is necessary to know. And they learn to know t what it is like for many refugees arriving Norway without understanding anything, either our language and culture. These are people they will meet in kindergartens and hospitals in Norway as well.
