The project "Promoting intercultural dialogue between Roma and non-Roma population through youth participation" is a project aimed at Roma youth and aims to provide an opportunity for young people with fewer opportunities to live an experience participating in the youth projects of FAGIC through the European Voluntary Service. The project will be developed in a specific social and cultural context and with young Roma and Roma families living in marginalized areas with basic needs such as education and employment. Volunteers have the opportunity to get to know first-hand and live with these young Roma, understand their needs and problems and help them to participate more actively in society through their expertise and experiences. Intercultural dialogue between Roma and non-Roma population through youth participation will be encouraged at all times. The tasks of the volunteers will focus on projects managed from the area of youth of FAGIC aiming social cohesion and employment, also the empowermentof Roma youth through non-formal education in subjects such as the Roma Genocide so they will get enough knowledge and tools to combat discrimination and racism towards Roma. The results of this volunteer service will create a strong Roma youth movement so they will have the opportunity to fully enjoy their rights. This results wil take effect in the most marginalized communities in Europe.
