Promotion of Youth Mobility for Youth Employment

'Promotion of Youth Mobility for Youth Employment' will bring together partners of an existing informal youth mobility network, Platform Network, to examine the possibilities for adding value to youth mobility activities such as Youth Exchanges, Transnational Youth Initiatives, etc. in relation to increasing employability of young people. Participants from Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Germany, Czech Republic and Ireland will have a face-to-face meeting in Galway, Ireland 12th to 15th June 2015 to look at Erasmus+ Programme and prepare information for dissemination to the Network. We aim to host a large scale activity for up to 20 partners in late 2015 informed by this activity in Galway, Ireland on12th to 15th June 2015. The meeting in Galway will also consider what expert speakers (including the National Agency) might be useful for the large scale activity, what creative methodologies might be used for group work, practical sessions on planning future projects and matching planned activities to Erasmus+. The workload for the large scale activity will be shared and areas of responsibility will be agreed in Ireland. The 7 participants in the activity 'Promotion of Youth Mobility for Youth Employment' all come from youth organizations in EU and bring different areas of expertise including logistics and planning, creative methodologies, past experience of large scale projects and youth mobility projects such as Youth Exchange, trainings, seminars, job shadowing and EVS etc. The project results will inform the larger scale project. The records of the meeting will be shared via the Platform Network Intranet. Facebook and Twitter will be utilized during the activity and a report will be submitted to the National Agency. Attendance and participation of the face-to-face activity 12-15 June 2015 will be evaluated by the group to check against objectives. The medium term outcome will be the realization of the large scale project in late 2015. The long term outcome will be increased youth mobility opportunities for young people aged up to 30 years old in 2016.
