Promotion of Volunteering and Inclusion in Albania- Edition 3 is a short term, group EVS project of 2 months (1 April 2013 till 31 May 2013) to be coordinated and hosted by BBA in Tirana, Albania. The project shall involve the participation of 12 volunteers aged 19-27, coming from Italy and Germany. The main aim of this project is to promote inclusion of youngsters with fewer opportunities, with special focus on those with disabilities & to promote voluntaryism as an added value of the society, especially in a society like Albania where volunteering is still "a road under development". With this initiative & the participation of 12 young volunteers from Europe, our goal is bringing a rich luggage of experience & creativity & help to motivate our local young people to act inclusively & volunteer for the communities in need, as well as provide a service to the disabled children in the targeted communities in Tirana.Objectives - Raising awareness towards inclusion of youngsters with fewer opportunities, with special focus on disability- Promote volunteerism as an added value of the under development societies such is Albania. - Improving quality of information exchange through peer education, outdoor activities, and the use of social media networks. - Promote YiA and its priorities among Albanian youngster and partners- Foster basis on promotion of NFE approach and intercultural dialogue- Share best practices among local and international volunteers. Activities:1. Assisting & social animating for children with learning difficulties in Tirana 2. Promoting local volunteering among youngsters of High Schools in Albania, through EVS experience and YiA program, as strong tools and positive testimonials. 3. Preparing and issuing the Newsletter, updating the website & blog of BBAICL, NFE & learning by doing will ensure an intercultural dimension & sufficient learning space for volunteers, where educational approaches are ensured with the support of staff.
