PROJET
TERMINÉ
The following application foresees the development of a two-year project and envisages three distinct activities: the first meant for 21 senior students from the Technical Courses of Thermalism, Tourism, Percussion and Wind Instrumentalist and Strings and Keys Instrumentalist that gather the necessary conditions to profit from a work-based learning experience in a transnational context (WBL), for a period of 6 weeks, at the end of the school year of 2016-2017; the 2nd activity thought for 10 recently graduated students (graduating in 2015-2016) and who don’t immediately find a job after finishing their course; and, finally, the third activity is intended for teachers, in the hosting companies where the students are. During this training period of 5 days (1 week) we envision good results born from the sharing of good practices related to the processes of monitoring, accompanying and labour market integration of students. The hosting countries are Spain and Italy. The students to be included in this project come from the interior part of the country, which is, par excellence, an isolated region with less work opportunities – especially when compared to coast areas and major cities – and where the opportunities for professional qualification or for the development of cultural and intercultural skills are also fewer. Therefore, the possibility to do their WBL/internship in an international context is seen as a unique opportunity – both for youngsters and teachers – that will allow them to benefit from a transnational working experience and, at the same time, develop their personal, social, linguistic, technical and professional competencies in the European space. The Work-Based Learning or internship foreseen in this application will occur in a company, assuming all the aspects of a working experience and will follow a series of professional activities developed under the coordination and monitoring of the school, with the supervision of the hosting company. This training experience aims the acquisition and/or the development of technical, relational and organisational skills which are relevant to the profile of the technical course of the student. The organisation and the development of the WBL obey a specific working schedule and plan, as well as a Learning agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding, written according to the activities developed by the hosting company. It also envisions the possibility to include activities developed by students, in context, according to the professional and technical skills learnt during their training period. The entire preparation process will begin immediately after the selection of the beneficiaries. The linguistic preparation will occur according to the EC platform (OLS) and the cultural, intercultural and entrepreneurial preparation will be offered both by teachers and local entrepreneurs. The training process will be assessed and certified and all the beneficiaries will fill-in the Europass Mobility document, which will be also validated at the end.The teachers/trainers, on the other hand, will learn and apprehend, in the hosting countries – from the sharing of methodologies related to practice and technical skills – new approaches, working methods and entrepreneurial management issues. This learning process follows a comparative and continuous improvement policy and will then be multiplied and integrated in the teachers/trainers daily working practices.
