The association is active in the fields of social, (inter)cultural, - and educational work especially concerning global issues. We like to enhance vivid cometogethers between people from all over the world and cooperate with our international partnerorganisations. Project goals:Our educational und cultural work is enriched by your ideas, activities and inspiration. Your involvement in our activities enhances intercultural competences within our association, yourself and our target groups such as pupils and students, youth and adults.We'll open up the possibility for a year working at our organisation, to learning something new for yourself and positively influencing sociological processes in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.Number and profile of the volunteers:You should fancy meeting a diverse, colorful association, be open getting to know new people. If you enjoy taking part in planning and organising events, you can learn al lot about project management at our association. Are you also interested in educational work with students and youth our assingment place is the right one for you in your EVS. At our organisation you can gain experience in youth work in a youth club in a town near Greifswald. At this youth club youngsters from Germany and youngsters who took refuge in Germany meet and set up activities together.Furthermore you will have the chance to participate in the radio team, develope a radio programme and put it on air. This radio programme broadcasts on global issues.You will also spent some time on working at the office. In all your activities you will be supported by our team.Activities:- Event planning and realisation- develop and implement project days on global issues for our target groups- Project management: taking part in meetings, documenting, preparing, development of international partnership- Youth work at the youth center near Greifswald- develope and broadcast a radio programme on global issuesProject Implementation:Especially in the beginning guided by your professional tutor you will get know our association and all fields of activities.Later, you will work mainly in educational activities and in the field of international cooperation.Results and effects:During the year you will be able to take over more and more responsibility and grow with your tasks. Together with you we want to motivate young people in taking part in an EVS themselves. With you taking part in our work we hope to enhance tolerance and understanding between people from different countries.long-term benefits:Due to working with international volunteers we hope for more cross-border thinking and action as a matter of course. More understanding, interest and readiness to act for european and global issues within our target groups will be influenced by your stay.
