'Promoting volunteering through table tennis' is a project that will be realized in Ocana (Toledo- Spain) in 'Table tennis club Ocaña'. We're looking for one volunteer who will come to the club from Decembar till the end of July (2017). The topics of the project are: health, sports, volunteering and interculturalism.The volunteer who will visit our club is going to be one more member of our organization with the same duties, obligations and rights as other members. A volunteer will always be accompanied by a coordinator who will be fully responsible for realization of activities.The volunteer will do tasks of training and improving technical skills for our younger athletes (6 - 7 hours a day). According to his abilities he will also have the opportunity to participate in the organization and management of championships, providing technical support to players and collaborating as a referee. He will participate in training with players from grassroots to national 1st division players.Every second weekend the players are going to competitions outside the residence. It will be a great opportunity for volunteer to get to know other places in Spain and in that way to get familiar with Spanish culture, customs, values... All the expenses will be paid by the club (food, accommodation, transport...).The volunteer will live in the house with two people. He will have his own room and bathroom. The saloon and the kitchen will be shared with the rest of the people in the house. Accommodation and accommodation costs (electricity, water, ...) will also be provided by the club. Money for food (200 euros) and pocket money (105 euros) will be delivered in hands to the volunteer the first day of the month. The club will also provide travel expenses (from volunteer’s home country to Spain).Sport hall, in which the volunteer will realize his activity, is 5 min walk from the house. He will be free two days of the week.
