Four teachers of the Europe Nations school would like to receive a scholarship from Erasmus + because they are particularly motivated in creating a european sharing project between several schools.The Europe Nations school of Vandoeuvre-lès- Nancy has 331 students (from 6 to 12 years old) within 15 classes. The school is part of a RRS (Réseau de réussite scolaire) as the children have major social and school difficulties. The european sharing project’s main goal is to improve the children’s linguistic skills by using a pedagogy of projects, in order to achieve the basic educational needs of all pupils.The volunteering teachers really want to give the children a cultural open-mind towards their education . They come from a lot of different countries . Although , teachers have to deal with a certain withdrawal into one’s community , they want to achieve a minimum of education thanks to a pedagogical, educative, appropriate and efficient action.The teaching team is really committed to valuing the differences between each other, putting the cultural melting pot forward.This european project will mobilize every pupil and every teacher in our school , several schools in the circonscription, a few foreign schools (from english speaking countries (via e-twinning), and the pupils’ families. It will bring an enhanced european culture to the children and their families and it will strenghten their feeling of belonging to the european community.The chosen training would allow the teachers to activly practice english by having spontaneaous conversations with native speakers. Indeed, it’s highly recommended that teachers have a good command of english so they can offer quality courses to the children and make it possible for them to get better results.Teachers need a personnal training, based on chosen specificities. This training will give them the desire to speak english and will make them confident enough to build and organize this european project , in which the final goal is the children’s success at school. Not only success in a linguistic way, but also , success thanks to the cultural knowledge, the curiosity of the pupils , open-minds towards other people , tolerance of others and the respect of everyone’s differences . A european sharing event (expositions, games, sports, sketches, rhymes created by children for other children) will close each year of training. The final aim is to perpetuate this annual event.The spreading (sharing) of the children’s work is very important. Each teacher will handle an individual mission of spreading : internet, e-twinning, students, schools of the circonscription and our school.
