Date du début: 1 déc. 2015, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

"Costache Negruzzi” College has constantly proven interest in meeting the standards of modern IT-based society within the educational process, highlighting the role of the teacher in designing learning contexts as for enabling young people to adapt to contemporary challenges. To this goal, the school board has taken action towards providing the necessary latest equipment for an up-to-date educational environment. The project framework was established upon identifying the institutional vulnerabilities, in order to both meet a set of current needs of teachers’ professional development and to ensure the sustainability of our institution. The objectives of the project „The Teacher in the Digital Classroom: Innovative Technologies Applied to Education” were set considering the excelency standards and the progress of our institution. The general objectives focus on acquiring ICT competence by means of mobility activities, training and efficiently implementing the knowledge gained during mobilities, as well as designing an online platform to be used for an exchange of educational best practice. The general objectives concern the final beneficiaries of the teaching-learning process as well, by engaging innovative teaching techniques, encouraging crosscurricular approach, promoting long-term multicultural and European values. Specific objectives are related to the planned activities and include developing practical ICT skills in education, enhancing team work and transfer of competence, as well as generating high quality educational content. The project is an institutional initiative which shall generate an improvement of digital knowledge in at least 85% of the teaching staff. To this purpose, the project aims at enabling a number of 18 teachers to participate in mobility training courses, and further coach the fellow teachers. In order to observe the equality principle and ensure the long-term efficiency of the project results, the participants shall be representative of all the existing curricular areas and shall contribute to the enhancing of digital skills on a school level, to improve the quality of the educational experience. The planned activities consist of three training flows that shall provide the theoretical grounds related to ICT use in education, as well as practice sessions on specific school subjects. Upon participating in two professional development sessions provided by Cervantes Taining, Spain, the teaching staff of the College will conduct training activities at school-level, on target groups according to their curricular areas, along with workshops within which ICT-based teaching samples shall be generated and crosscurricular approach shall be fostered. The third professional development session, provided by ETN Tribeka Training Lab, Spain will train the participants to design, use and efficiently share web platforms. All the three training activities will sustain the development of a school web platform to host and distribute original educational content and ultimately, to inspire a steady interest in using ICT in shool education. On the grounds of the realistic analysis of the needs and identification of the prospect solutions to enhance school policy standards, the rather complex methodology of the project will consist of implementing, monitoring and evaluating the project results both individually and institutionally. Close cooperation is expected between the management team and the project participants, between the sending institution, the training centres and relevant stakeholders. On the institutional level, the project methodology requires collaboration, team work and extended use of ICT competence, along with monitoring procedures of activities. On the individual level, the project targets the acquisition of innovative teaching techniques and their matter-of-fact use in the classroom, according to the requirements of the nowadays technological advances. Furthermore, the following indicators are taken into account: issuing of learning agreements (task assignment and expected outcomes), completing the training mobility, developing of the school web platform (as a teaching tool that highlights both the professional development and the school equipment), and maximizing the potential of the outcomes and their sustainability by a ongoing analysis of impact on participants, beneficiaries and other relevant institutions.
