The project ‘Professional in their jobs – vocational practice of the students of Secondary School Complex in Reda in Spain’ assumes realisation of foreign practice for our students in three professions: advertising methods and organisation technician, surveyor technician and landscape architecture technician. The practice will last for two weeks and take place in Sevilla and Ubeda (a town in Jaen district) in Andalusia. Our foreign partners are euroMind – which has been a successful training centre in the whole Europe for several years and EUSA – an educational centre with vocational training on the level of university education with over 50 years of experience . The school is associated with Universidad de Seville (a university in Sevilla) and is the property of the Chamber of Commerce in Sevilla. A memorandum between Secondary School Complex in Reda, euroMind and EUSA has been signed and it will allow to use the monitoring and evaluating of the students doing the internship in ECVET system i.e. European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training. It will make it possible to gain knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications according to the rules which enable the transfer, acknowledgement and accumulation of achievements in Europe, validation of learning effects and increasing the clarity of the qualification. Detailed objectives:- gaining knowledge, skills and vocational competences in a field specific for the particular jobs,- getting acquainted with a new working environment,- developing the skill of cooperation in a team,- learning to work under pressure,- improving social skills (increasing the self-esteem, independence and maturity),- getting acquainted with cultural, historic and mental richness of other nationalities and European cultures,- learning tolerance and openness towards other cultures and nationalities,- improving language skills in English and Spanish (also vocational) in everyday situations.The project also shapes certain attitudes of the students i.e. accuracy, conscientiousness and responsibility for entrusted tasks.39 students altogether will go on practice in three professions: - advertising methods and organisation technician: 16 students + 2 counselors on the date: 30.04.2017-13.05.2017 (2 weeks), it will be so called controlled practice in cooperation with EUSA school in Sevilla. The curriculum of the internship presupposes creating an advertising campaign by the students, - landscape architecture technician: 16 students + 2 counselors on the date: 08.10.2017-21.10.2017 (2 weeks). The practice will take place in Landscapes Aljarafe company – the curriculum of the practice presupposes practical activities in royal gardens of Alcazar in Sevilla, planting unknown in Poland species of plants and designing an original garden project based on the Antonio Gaudi style, - surveyor technician: 7 students + 1 counselor on the date: 14.05.2017-27.05.2017 (2 weeks). Practice will be realised in a surveyor company in Ubeda (Jaen). A very interesting solution for this small group of apprentices is accommodation in so called ‘hosting families’ i.e. in privates homes of Spanish families, which will be a great opportunity for the students to get acquainted with the Spanish language, get in touch with the inhabitants of Ubeda and make friends with them. Estimated results of the project:- improving the level of foreign language skills (English and especially Spanish) of our students, - gaining new skills, knowledge and vocational qualifications, - gaining social and interpersonal competences, - increasing self-esteem, openness to the world and other nationalities, In the project ‘hard results of the project’ have been planned, among others:- Internet project website which will be created before the departure of the first group and its main objective will be reporting the proceedings of the project on a daily basis. Students in Poland will be able to trace the news placed on the portal, comment and chat with their friends at the practice, - film about the practice, created by each mobility group, about what they did, where they were, what they saw. The film will be realised during the stay in Spain, and will be put together by students of the class: advertising methods and organisation technicians, - organisation of a formal conference (seminar) summarising the project ‘Professional in their jobs – vocational practice of the students of Secondary School Complex in Reda in Spain’. These activities are supposed to popularise the project, promote the school, encourage and motivate students to an even greater effort in learning, higher determination and willingness to take part in such enterprises.
