In Lithanian and EU labour market there is a tendency that a need of qualified specialists of computer graphics desing operator and computer and organizational equipment operator specialists is growing up daily. According to this fact and vocational schools in Lithuania decided to conduce to to the skilled IT sector shortages reduction - vocational schools, who will take part in the project will allow for students of computer graphics desing operator specialty and for students of computer and organizational equipment operator specialty. Total 36 students will take part in the project. The main aim of the project "Professional IT specialist" - to allow for the students from vocational training school of computer graphics desing operator specialties to gain practical professional skills and new theoretical knowledge abroad. Coordinator of the project is Vilnius vocational school of railway and business services. 6 Lithuanian vocational training institutions will tak epart in the project. Hosting partners are from Spain, Czech Republik, Germany. After the project implementation the following results will be achieved: students will have theoretical knowledge and practical skills in IT area in in computer graphics, and desktop publishing technology, web development, working with database fields; will know how to work safely with computer software; will know what are work ethics and work culture requirements; participants of the project will understand the use of IT in social, ethical and legal field; students will improve their foreign language skills, know what kind of IT innovation is used in Europe, students will develop the basic business and will have communication skills with clients; students during the project will broaden social network - they will gain new friends / colleagues abroad. The project will help to recude unemployment in Lithuania and EU as well.
