International-level communication and cooperation has become a priority area of the Center, an integral part of the educational process. There is definitely a positive impact on the organization: innovations are brought in the learning process, students performed in internships abroad are more demanded in the labor market and more independent. In order to prepare highly skilled professionals who are able to compete in the international arena, the Center annually expands the number of internships abroad. Developed assessment is based on the students and institution’s striving for progress, looking for various options that could meet the educational needs of young people, parents and employers' wishes, delivering high-quality vocational education and training. Centre's management annually review, assess the implementation of the strategic plan and its main achievements, failures, analyze the current situation, established areas for improvement. It is observed that relatively low students learning motivation, which is likely to determine gaps in the organization of the educational process, core competencies, lack of basic skills, lots of students' families belong to social excluded groups. This project is being organized to develop areas of improvement provided in Strategic Plan for 2015-2017 and the National School Evaluation Agency completed evaluation of school activities in 2014. It is important to mention that, according to the external evaluators, the weak areas are self-assessment and organization of training processes, that is monitoring learning, cooperative learning, measuring students’ progress in class.Our Center’s Strategic Plan objectives are related to regulation of the Council of Europe and to “Europe 2020” objectives, e.g. emphasis on the reduction of social exclusion, to initiate practical training periods in small businesses, to encourage mobility.According to the Center’s Strategic Plan for 2015-2017, organization's needs coincide with the objectives of the project - to implement social exclusion reduction, ensure the quality and develope internationalization.To achieve the goals it is planned to:A1 activity. Practical training in enterprises. The participants - the five most popular specialties: decorator (builder), mechanic, machinery maintenance worker, cook and florist in vocational training programs of initial vocational training students. 4 students will take part in three-week visits, the total number of participants 20. When planning intenships and selecting participants, priority will be given to socially excluded students. A2 activity. Supervision (assisting) of vocational training specialists in the institutions. Estimated number of participants is 9. In order to implement the project goals, it is planned to make 3 vocational training visits to the professional schools to monitor the classes and gain experience of how the study process is organized. The greatest attention will be paid to the measurement of student progress, learning monitoring, collaborative learning in classes and how to work with socially excluded pupils.Students, participating in internship, will be able to evaluate their career options in professional activities, find out the pros and cons, it will help to further personal development and professional skills development, develop a professional identity and strengthen their self-esteem, develop basic, intercultural and social competences, develop communication skills, teach dynamism and ability to assume responsibility for learning outcomes and professional achievements.In order to improve the training process in the organization to make it more effective, the international experience would be very useful for both professional training professionals and for students. It is expected that the vocational training specialists, have gained international experience, will have more courage to apply more innovative teaching methods, differentiation of learning activities in the classroom, peer learning, improve self-assessment competence, share their experience with other teachers.
