The project "Practical student training" is a partnership of Cesta Uspesnych (The way of the successful) z.s. and Akvitiva Zvysuje uspech (Activity towards success) n.o. The project helps university students and young people gain practical experiences and develop their personal growth, which they are missing out on at universities. It also supports a website, which helps train these skills. Both organisations represent the biggest student organisations in their respective countries with nation-wide influence.During the project, we plan to organize 80 guest speaker events for experienced entrepreneurs, managers, personal coaches and experts on personal development (at least 75% of these will be streamed among other universities in Czech and Slovak republic), 200 daily training videos which will introduce practical information about soft skills. Further more, we plan to use the website to connect students with companies in Czech republic, so that they can use their newly gained skills (small corporate projects, writing theses, corporate internships etc.). All activities lead to systematic development of practical work skills of the focus group and their application in practice.Both partners have experience working with youth on the nation-wide level. AZU has 8 branches, CU has 4 branches at other university cities. The added value of this partnership is the improvement of current activities both organisations and consolidation of the complex services for the focus group. They will gain better skills for their first careers and improve their situation at the labour market.The main benefit for the organizers is to gain experience with managing international projects. Thanks to this opportunity, both partners will be able to create larger and more ambitious projects on European level.
