FINAL SUMMARY Our elementary school Ivančická prepared in cooperation with the town Moravský Krumlov , Alrete language school and the grammar school a project to support students with extensive language teaching of the English language in order to achieve an adequate level of knowledge of English. Our pupils should be able to pass the Cambridge exams. Our elementary school Ivančická wants them to obtain these certificates: the level MOVERS (beginners), FLYERS ( Intermediate ) and KEY ENGLISH TEST (possibility of obtaining the certificate level A1 , respectively . B1). The duration of the project is expected to be 5 years. The long-term plan of our elementary school is to be specialized in the extensive language teaching. We offer high level training and therefore we require and also support high-quality all-round training of our teachers, especially in terms of the professional preparation, as well as in the fields of methodology and language . To participate in the project we select representative teachers from the first and the second degree , because our school teaches English from 1st form to 9th form . Just the good start and entry into the foreign language, we consider to be very important, as well as the subsequent improvement of the language skills of our students. Selected teachers are continually educated and participate in professional language courses, seminars and conferences. They are also regular participants in one week summer language stays. Their prolonged and intense interest to always innovate and improve their work and it is then reflected in their direct educational work with students in all lessons. Teachers are selected for the stay abroad in order to more deeply acquainted with the language and the system of education in other countries, and to their newly acquired knowledge and experience prior to their colleagues and students. They will also be directly involved in our project with extensive English teaching, leading to the passing of the exams . Here they can fully use all the information, skills and knowledge acquired during their stay abroad. When teaching English at primary school, it is important to use the most varied range of educational methods and procedures - TPR , speaking , listening , writing , songs , games , etc. The main goal is to get interested in the language and manage all the basic themes through which the students recognize similarities and differences of life in other European countries when teaching young children. Due to the direct participation in the project at the study stay abroad , we expect improvements of methods and procedures mentioned above( speaking , listening , writing , reading skills) . Especially communication with native speakers can improve these skills and after it the teacher can be the best possible example for the individual learning process and contribute to the raising of the level of skills and knowledge of children in the English language. Improving the quality of English language teaching can provide an additional inflow of students. Education and training of teachers abroad will not only increase the personal values of the participating teachers, but it could also increase the prestige of our school. The sufficient number of pupils also provides sufficient funds for further development and improvement of the level of work at our school. Finally, it is important to spread the knowledge and understanding of pupils and their European overview. Our students are considered to be the main target group who will be actively involved in the project with extensive English language teaching. The improvement of the educational process is our main aim. We want to offer our students the widest possible opportunities of teaching English due to the usage of the latest methods and procedures.
