Vocational pupils:The vocational school Lucien Voilin has been certified since 2009 "High School Sale Certification".It offers different school trainings. The school is located in Puteaux , near the largest European business district , La Défense.Our vocational school fights against:- A large percentage of student absenteeism- Students’ immobility- Lack of motivationTo overcome these difficulties, the school offers an English European section for the vocational “Baccalauréat Welcoming” and a mobility for some other students.Goals:1: Improving the employability and further studies2: Improving the students’ language level, so that the participants become good professionals3: Promoting personal development, integration, open mindedness to European citizenship4: Developing participants’ motivation and improving their exam results5: Reducing absenteeism and exclusionsMobility: Where and When?Our project concerns 10 students who will do a four-week-work experience in an Irish company in the end of 2016. We have been working for five years with our partner, Destination Mobility, which knows exactly our requirements in terms of placement and monitoring. Moreover, the school has a strong economic relationship with many companies in Cork. Participants in this mobility will develop the following skills in the Irish companies:- Welcoming face-to -face and by phone- Assisting and supervising customers- Selling products or services
