The submitter and coordinator of the project is Obchodná akadémia Dušana Metoda Janotu in Čadca, Slovakia. It is a modern vocational school providing superior education in the fields of special economic subjects as weel as in foreign languages. During study, our students have to acquire great quantity of theoretical knowledge. That is acquired by the medium of modern methods of learning with active usage of the methodology CLIL - Content and Language Integrated Learning. Our main goal is to achieve that our students will be able acquired knowledge in real business environment. That is why we want our students to get an opportunity to complete an intership in enterprises in London where they can acquire practical experience and skills. There are especially following: the improvement of using English language as weel as special economic terminology, experience in the work in an international team - team work and team building, recognising a new culture, the opportunity to present our culture abroad. Participating in mobility will help students to increase their confidence as in our region there are not enough opportunities for pracitcal verification of their acquired special knowledge and skills. The region of Kysuce, in comparison with other regions, does not have so widely developed business environment, as it is country evnironment, thus there are disadvantaged young people. Therefore, we are convinced that the participation of our students in foreign intership helps them to assert themselves on both national and international labour market. The school is planning to involve 15 participants - students of the 4th grade of billingual branch of study (Slovak - English ) and 2 qualified and well experienced teachers of the English language and special economic subjects taught in English language. As a partner organisation, we have chosen the ADC College on the basis of its long - time experience in mobility of youth. This agency will provide complex services for our students including accomodation, placing in workstations in companies in Londnon a well as mentoring during whole duration of the intership. Group leaders - teachers will have the opportunity to control their students actively, to communicate with their leaders on work places and to provide needed help. After the completing intership we expect really positive impacts on several aspects: - our students will improve their proficiency and especially they will learn to use theri acquired knowledge effectively in real entrepreneurial environment - our school can remain in active cooperation with international institutions in Europe and improve its own profile - both our school and students will acquire useful information and review of actual requirements of European labour market
