The project ??Internship in view of the labour-market insertion of young graduates??, has answered the need to train 10 students, future graduates of the vocational 2 years education system, the eleventh grade, and internships on special education specialization Barber-hairdresser-manicurist-pedicurist through creating the conditions of a good social and professional integration. The project has corresponded to a set of specific needs related to the Europe Strategy 2020 objective and the Erasmus Plus programme to promote equality and social inclusion of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and the increase of mobility with learning purposes. Nationwide, the project supported IPT strategic objectives with the aim of developing a reinforced vocational education system in order to increase the economic and social cohesion. The project has granted equality of chances for students in the local and regional labor market regardless of their socio-economic status, ethnicity. At the institutional level, this project was part of the necessary actions provided by the school plan 2012-1018 to achieve the strategic priority ? Increasing professional and civic key skills. The project provided the 10 students in initial training,with the opportunity to strengthen their professional and practical skills at the highest European standards and form new skills in starting a business in this field by participating in a 3 weeks practical training course in six beauty centers in Spain . Project goal: improving and reinforcing professional skills and entrepreneurship in this field for students in initial training, as well as general skills that will increase their opportunities in labor- market insertion. The project has answered the training needs of the beneficiaries and has set the following objectives: -gaining work experience, training and skills development within the field -acquiring skills application of modern techniques in the field; -strengthening specialist language skills that will enable labor market mobility -the development of documentation skills (theoretical and practical) on a particular topic -forming ability of applying theoretical knowledge in practical contexts of work -the development of personal autonomy and of the capacity to adapt to different living environments; - Development of the key skills, behaviors and attitudes needed in order to integrate in the dynamic world of the labor market; -develop creativity and skills acquisition in starting business; During the 90 hours of practical training, students have gone through the module called ?Work adjustment to customer`s needs? with the aim to acquire specific skills ?Barber-hairdresser-manicurist- chiropodist? in prospect of using all the skills necessary for this qualification that require improvement due to new technology and modern working techniques. The activity plan was structured in order to acquire technical skills, adapting one`s work depending on customer`s demands, strengthen key skills stipulated in SPP: Communication in foreign languages, teamwork, personal and professional development, quality assurance. Long-term benefits on personal and professional level will be found in the increased capacity to integrate professionally and socially with the opportunity to improve their social life and overcome poor social conditions
