In the project have participated 20 students from II, III and IV classes from Zespół Szkół Rolniczych named Wincenty Witos in Ostróda who are training in occupations: - IT - technician hotelier, - technician of the nutrition and organization of catering services. The school has participated in european projects for several years. This year, the project consisted of a group of young people who are training in profession of the nutrition and service of catering services , IT and technician hotelier , which allow them to improve their knowledge in the reality of an european country . Participants have left for practice in May 2015 in a group of 20 people. The project's partner is a company in Ireland Your International Training , which specializes in organizing and managing professional practices and educational programs for young people, students , teachers and youth workers . The company has got 6 -year of experience , and successfully manage the issue of EU projects , in particular the Leonardo da Vinci , Erasmus and VETPRO . Selected by the partner company were adapted to the pupils' profiles in order to ensure maximum benefit from the internship. The main objective of the project was to increase practical skills and mobility of participants in order to increase their potential attractiveness on the labor market . During the apprenticeship the beneficient planned the implementation of the following specific objectives: - Improvement of professional skills in the nutrition and organization of catering service, IT and technician hotelier, - Knowledge of applicable procedures and standards for the Western European labor market - Improvement of language skills - Learn the principles of work organization, - Confrontation of theoretical knowledge with practice, - Increase practical skills , - To improve the self-confidence that allows participants to mobility in the regional and also on the European labor market , - Description of requirements and preferences of consumers and tourists , to enable students to learn the culinary arts, and new trends in catering, the organization structure of the European catering establishments, improve the IT skills, new trends and technology in IT, creating websites. - Learn about the culture and customs of the partner's country , - Planning the further development path in their career. The realization of these goals is important because Ostróda county area is a region with high unemployment and low economic potential. Young people recognize the need for training , skills development and acquisition of new skills , which contributes to improve and deveop the image of the professional at the time of entry into the local labor market. From year to year the beneficiary is observed increaseing students' interest in the possibilities in going on an internship abroad. In this region, which is saddled with high unemployment , especially among graduates , it is important that they are entering the labor market with high professional qualifications .
