The main aim of the project was to provide an opportunity to the students of Mechanical and Logistics School in Slupsk to get in depth knowledge and vocational experience of the automobile technology. The project was coordinated by the School in partnership with a German company at Vitalis GmbH training center facility, Germany. The students, 30 in total, were able to take part in International level internship during the project time, FROM 1 September 2014 to 30 August 2015. A group of 15 students took part in it from October/ November 2014, and the other group of 15 from February 2015. The students' vocational training was organized on the basis of three weeks traineeship. During each internship students had a chance to get familiar with the specifity of the profession as well as they got an ability to perform practical tasks at German vocational training center along with workshops at certain German factories. In addition, one of the main objectives of the project was to provide an opportunity to create their own electric driven vehicles ?ebuggy?. Practical participation in the international project certainly contributed to raising the professional knowledge and skills of students in specified field. It was also an excellent opportunity to gain more experience giving participants the advantage on the job market. The project participants acquired the specific practical skills necessary to practice useful techniques and gained automotive vehicles experience in the field of European work organization and knowledge of the latest technologies used particularly in the automotive field. The most important advantages for the future emplyees are graduates with practical skills and fluency in German. Participation in similar projects by the School of Mechanical and Logistics in Slupsk raised the importance and quality of training offered in the local market, being currently threatened by high unemployment. In addition, our School gained foreign cooperation and contacts, allowing to combine domestic and foreign traineeship in the aim of raising knowledge and professional abilities in the future. Students are professionally prepared to succeed in their educational and career paths. To sum up, our students gained much technical knowledge and practical work experience abroad.
