The Project "Praktyki zagraniczne - doświadczenie, rozwój, lepsza praca (foreign practice - experience, personal development, better job) is aimed at 60 students of our school called Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 5 in Ruda Śląska.The European job market is in need of qualified, experienced, open to self-development, resourceful employees. Meanwhile, our students want to improve their linguistic skills, work qualifications and skills, which will be the answer for needs of that market. The location of our school has a great impact on the program of our first project, and thus, the project has been developed to fit the needs of our students, who come from areas of high unployment and poverty.Our students who are specializing as digital press technicians, IT specialists, tourism technicians, landscape architects and surveyors will participate in an intensive 72-hour language course and 20-hour cultural and educational course. These will take place before the 4 weeks mobility in Dublin.The preparation of the participants is necessary and it will positively influence their self-esteem and the results of the project. Therefore, the students' chances of employment, the European values and their resourcefulness are going to increase. Furthermore, the process of teaching in Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 5 is going to improve greatly and become more attracitve for the students, which is the ultimate goal of the project.The cooperation with the institution responsible for organizing the practice, Infinity College, will allow our students to get the necessary international certificates as well as the experience, increasing their value on the job market.The results of the project will have a great impact on many factors, such as: our students' personal lives and future job careers, the development of our school, people involved in the project, local community, the students' parents and last but not least, the European job market, in a broader prospect.The realization of our first project will greatly influence our students' resourcefulness, the awareness of the European values and their employment chances as well as increasing peoples' interest in our school by giving it an international dimension.By participating and being engaged in the project, our students will obtain the valuable certifications. These certificates will serve as a proof of their gained qualificatins, experience, resourcefulness and career planning skills.Our experiences and the positive changes in the school community thanks to the project will be shown at various exhibitions, conferences, many Internet websites and even a school play performed by our students and teachers.By promoting all the positive effects of our development we want the process of learning of the students of Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 5 to evolve into a boundless lifelong learning process.
