The project is realized in cooperation with the euroMind company and it is directed to first and second grades students who train to become hospitality technicians, feeding technicians, logistics and IT technicians.The main aim is to increase students' vocational and linguistic competences in order to strengthen the employability of young people and to facilitate their transition to the local, regional and European labour market.The specific aims are:- to acquire new and to improve the already gained professional skills in the already mentioned jobs- getting to know the European working system, European standards and practices- to improve key competences, particularly considering the knowledge of English with the emphasis on business English and elementary knowledge of Spanish, the growth of IT and social competences.Before the start of the traineeship, all the participants will attend a pedagogical, cultural and linguistic preparation. There have been planned three mobilities for three groups (16 students in each group). Students will serve the traineeship in hotels, restaurants and companies. The IT technicians will train at Colegio Salesianos San Pedro in Seville.The hospitality technicians will become familiar with their workplace organization and with delivering extra services in the facility which provides accommodation. They will learn the techniques of keeping the rooms clean and tidy. They will also gain knowledge connected with preparing and serving breakfast. They will be able to compare the Polish standards with those from abroad. The feeding technicians will gain practical skills connected with managing a company and being self- employed (working in a restaurant or kitchen). They will have a chance to get to know new dishes and tastes which are often perceived as being exotic by them. There are new challenges and skills waiting for them. The ability to deal with them is a very important skill at a labour market.The logistic technicians will broaden their knowledge connected with organizing and monitoring the flow of resources and information in the processes of production, distribution and storage.The IT technicians will have a 2-week traineeship (so called controlled traineeship) in the scope of application programming on portable devices which use the Android system.The expected results are: the growth of labour competences and linguistic competences of the participants. They will become familiar with the culture and tradition of a different European country. They will also increase their labour flexibility and mobility and they will become more self -confident, self -reliant and able to adapt easily to new situations. They will also gain motivation for gaining further education and upgrading their skills. At the end, every participant will get a certificate confirming their participation in a foreign traineeship issued by the enrolled organization and the Europass Mobility Certificate. The assessment of the traineeship will be made according to the ECVET system which will allow to legitimize the grades by the school in Poland.The measurable effects of the project will also include the enhancement of the vocational training quality and at the same time the growth of the school's prestige on the educational market. Both sides will definitely benefit a lot of important experience from the project. We will use the gained experiences to prepare another project.
