The dynamic lifestyle is connected with the constant increase of automobile accident victims, statistics show. That is why, during the last decade all automobile manufacturers have been developing technology and innovations to fight against so called War on roads. These modernisations do not serve as marketing goals, they save lives! Special attention is paid to intelligent safety systems, both active and passive. The evolution of automobiles results in the necessity of well-prepared experts able to diagnose and eliminate defects in intelligent systems in "computers on wheels". Vocational School of Mechanical and Electrotechnical Engineering (PGMET) – Lovech, is a professional school in which subjects within the fields of electronics and transport are taught. The pedagogical staff wishes the learners to acquire adequate professional knowledge relevant to labour market needs. This project is necessary to achieve the following goals: - gaining topical knowledge of intelligent systems used in contemporary motor cars, - acquiring professional skills at active safety systems such as ABS, ESP, Traction Control, etc.,- improving employment suitability on the European labour market, - mastering the foreign knowledge competences of the participants, - facilitating the transnational mobility, - enhancing manufacturing culture, - familiarising with the customs and culture of a EU country through informal training, - developing the feeling of European citizenship and identity, - guaranteeing competences recognition through Europass mobility certificate. The future participants are 20 students, all of them in the 11th grade, undergoing initial vocational education and training, and 2 accompanying persons. The training will be held in Germany in a partnership with the state-funded vocational school Walter Gropius. The project will be realized at three stages: Stage 1 – preparatory /01.09.2015 - 01.04.2016/: - informing the participants, - administering the project, - a preparatory visit to Germany /contract signing, duties and obligations, accommodation/, - foreign language preparation of the participants with a final product – a Bulgarian-German dictionary including specific topic vocabulary, - participants selection, - preparation for the mobility /transport, insurance, contracts signing, annexes/. Stage 2 – a 3-week training in Erfurt, Germany / 03.04.2016-24.03. 2016 /: - through visualization in education workshops and laboratories, - in a professional centre which is a part of The Chamber of Crafts, - in garages, - questionnaires about participants’ expectations of/for mobility, - workshops to discuss important issues between the participants, employers and tutors, - reporting, - a final product preparation, – presentation under the motto ‘ESC: Three letters that can save your life’, - examination and certification, - sociocultural programme and sports events during the days off. Stage 3 – dissemination of the results realised by the partners in Germany and by the participants in Bulgaria. German partners will publish information in the local newspapers and on the Walter Gropius school site. After returning to Bulgaria the participants will make a poster with photos and they will publish the final product of the training /the presentation/ on Facebook and on the site of the school, they will organize a seminar having invited representatives of vocational schools in Lovech, of the Regional Inspectorate of Education, local non-governmental organisations and employers concerned. The invited participants will receive information about the essence of the Erasmus+ Programme, what prospective opportunities it offers and what the benefits of taking part in it are. The participants in the mobility will introduce the product to the attendees. Brochures, pens and flash memory sticks with the logo of the programme and the acronym of the project will be distributed to the attendees. Individual reports will be prepared by the participants and the project director. The methodology throughout the realization includes: collecting the information about the needs of the educational institution and the suitable partners; setting goals; developing the project proposal; making a plan for monitoring and assessment; using interactive methods; putting into practice the dual system of education while realizing the project. The participation in the mobility will result in the advancement of the professional and foreign language development of the target group and the accompanying persons; it will improve the managerial and organizational skills of the staff. The sustainability of the results achieved is guaranteed by the personal advancement of each participant, by increasing their motivation for lifelong learning, which will lead to better quality of the educational process in general, and to better awareness of both employers and educational organisations.
