Having our professional development as a starting point, it was thought that a job shadowing in a school with similar characteristics would provide benefits not only in the teaching labor of our teachers, but also in our students and the local companies from the sector. After contacting an Italian school with socio-sanitary studies, it was agreed to perform a job shadowing that would include interviews with company managers, school managers, school teachers, job observations, etc. All of them would have the goal to study aspects such as employability, inclusion, resource management, etc. Once the visit finishes, a new phase will start where the goal will be to analyze how to apply everything learned to our school and to the companies from the region, and to study the possibility of new projects with other schools and companies that would take us to the ?next level?. Two teachers from the nursing vocational studies and one from the counseling team will take part in this project. Once finished the stance a new phase will start where innovations will be implemented and we?ll start working in new projects. With this project, among the other results we will enrich the pedagogical methodology of our staff; the students will benefit from this methodology and will have the possibility of doing a practical training abroad. Regarding the school we will improve the qualification of our staff that took part in the project and their colleagues from the department. Regarding our local community, this project will involve a boost through innovation in companies of the sector. In the long term we will design a database with all our international links (companies, schools, etc) that will include the way we can collaborate.(practical trainings for students, teachers, visit, teaching, etc).
