PRÁCTICAS DE ELABORACIÓN DE VINOS VERDES EN SANTO TIRSO (PORTUGAL)

The mobility proposal suggests that young people from the Centre of training of the Rural Environment of Villafranca de los Barros attending Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio: "Preparation of oils of olive and wine" should have the opportunity to supplement training in centres of labour (CFL) in a European country other than Spain, specifically in the Portuguese town of Santo Tirso. Four pupils will participate in the project: who have completed the first year of the training cycle. The objectives of this project are focused on:-To expand the cultural and linguistic training living for three weeks with young Portuguese people and carrying out cultural and technical visits.-To promote the professional development of the participants in the competencies of winemaking and cellar technology use in a different country.* To identify the structure and organization of the company relating to the provision of services.* To apply ethical and work habits in the development of their professional activity according to the characteristics of the job and procedures established by the company.* To harvest and store raw materials and auxiliaries, according to the procedures and instructions established, performing basic controls and interpreting the results.*To prepare equipment and ancillary services, adjusting their devices and accessories, according to established procedures and applying the rules of prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection.* To perform the operations of production of oil of olive, wines and other drinks by applying the rules of food safety, prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection.* To perform operations of storage, filtration, packaging, labelling, packaging and expedition of products following the instructions established by the company.-To promote the vocational training of average degree through mobility for Europe programmes-To provide a practical language learning related to their working environment.-To support the development of the new technologies of communication and information.-To accredit practical training through certification Europass.-To encourage the adaptation of the participants to a different socio-labour context.-To disseminate European practices and its formal recognition between the business fabric of our region.The content of the mobility project expects that group of students can increase their job skills by carrying out practical training at the experimental cellar centre, where vinification operations of the most characteristic of the Portuguese region wines are made: Green wine. They will also have the opportunity to use and observe technology of cellar and complement all the mechanisms involved in the process of Green winemaking.Mobility will have a duration of three weeks and it will be held in mid-September, determined date according to the degree of maturation of the grape, which determines the time of harvest in Santo Tirso and, consequently, the beginning of activity in the wine cellars and, therefore, the time of beginning of mobility.
