The project “Power of CO” is a long-term nine month EVS project under Erasmus+ Programme for one volunteer coming from France. It will be implemented during October 2016 – June 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia.Mainly the activities for the volunteer will take place in the capital - Tbilisi, where the most of the local activities of ICPI are implemented. But during the international projects in frames of Erasmus+ or other local program(s), the EVS volunteer will be involved in the implementation process, s/he might move to different regions of Georgia together with ICPI staff.S/he will also have opportunity to work in different filled with different target, to organize classes in schools, to work with IDP (Internally Displaces People) youngsters.Besides, ICPI has just launched the Generator 9.8 program and we are eager to involve our volunteers in this new project. The Generator is a co-working social space inspired by the principles of sustainable economy and social entrepreneurship.The Generator is the first non-profit Co-working Space & Social Bar in Georgia where customers and volunteers enjoy their mutual company while they are working on their project. We believe that changes pass through people. The philosophy of the Generator is to supply young activists, young professionals, artists and musicians with a suitable platform for their personal and professionaldevelopment. Step by step the volunteer will become part of most of these processes held in Generator.Overall the objectives of the project are the following:- To promote collaborative/social economy and its tools for non-formal education;- Tearning through non-formal education methods about different youth related issues;- Tolerance, interculturality, non-violent communication and conflict transformation with peaceful methods;- To promote healthy lifestyle and environmental friendliness;- Improve the capacity of young people, through including them in international youth exchanges, trainings, seminars or voluntary activities/EVS- Raise awareness particularly about EVS programme in new Erasmus+ programme among Georgian youth- Raise awareness about European Citizenship and it’s benefits for localThe volunteer is expected that after all will develop professionally and personally and have transmittable affect on his/her community once back home. We believe it will be a great experience as well as for the volunteer also for Receiving and sending organizations and the impact will be much wider than only for the EVS volunteer
