We identified Samah. She is a young artist involved with the volunteer AECHF on intercultural encounters projects with young Europeans.We would welcome her from September 2016 to six months in order to support us in our educational activities for global citizenship and allow her to develop a personal project on gender issues and the promotion of his artistic work on the theme of happiness and imagination.Our association is involved in the European Voluntary Service as a sending, hosting organization and coordination since 2006. The EVS allows us to fulfill our mission which is to promote living together by international citizenship education in particular through support to youth voluntary commitments abroad.The history of our association is closely linked with decentralized cooperation of the City of Romans. It is in this framework that we have developed our relationship with Amuddu, our historical partner in Taroudant in Morocco and with associations in Palestine in Beit Sahour and Hebron as the Association for Cultural Exchange Hebron-France (AECHF).For this project, we have several objectives which also correspond to the objectives and priorities of the program:- Allowing young to live an engagement project in France and abroad out of their usual context and engage in actions for international citizenship and intercultural relations in France.- To acquire and strengthen the learning necessary for its socio professional integration (life skills and know-how); but also to strengthen its autonomy and taking responsibility; as well as expand its knowledge of other cultures, other contexts, other ways of living alongside and sharing with French from very different backgrounds and especially young people.- Enable young French and Palestinian youth to meet, to exchange. For French youth, there will also be an awareness experience about mobility and international citizenship.- To show young people that it is possible to act for the benefit of others while enjoying yourself.- To be aware on concepts of citizenship and multiculturalism.Given the geographical, cultural, politcal and economic barriers faced by this young woman, we want to establish a reinforced mentorship to ensure the achievement of educational goals upstream project, during and after Samah's voluntary.
