AFORMAC is a training organization established in 1980 and certified ISO 9001 version 2008. Today present in Auvergne, in the Centre, Limousin and Midi-Pyrénées Regions, AFORMAC provides for qualifying training in hospitality and catering profession, health and social care field, entertainment field, in service sector and in business field.
In 1988, the first mobility projects for trainees of AFORMAC in hospitality and catering field began. Indeed, we used mobility as a vector of development of language skills, multicultural skills and personal development related to this sector. The creation of the AFORMAC Europe agency in 1998 strengthened its action. It acts on the part of the mobility in the process of the training and for job seekers, but also through educational engineering actions and in particular on the use of ECVET.
FORCE'MOB objectives are to strengthen the personal and professional skills, to facilitate the insertion into the labor market, to develop the European citizen learners' minds and to use, with a network, the ECVET tools in order to optimize mutual trust.
FORCE'MOB relies on certifying training actions in hospitality and catering field in the cities of Aurillac, Montluçon and Clermont-Ferrand. It has been of benefit to 7 trainees : 3 from Montluçon, 2 from Clermont-Ferrand and 2 from Aurillac ; 4 women and 3 men, aged from 21 to 48 years old.
The mobilities were performed in Greece (5) and in the United Kingdom (2). The participants performed a work placement. The two hosting cities, Leeds and Thessaloniki offered to the learners the opportunity to experience their profession within luxury establishments (business and tourism), which do not exist in the Massif Central.
The impacts are twofold:
- 6 beneficiaries have graduated. 5 are currently working and 2 will take additional training.
- The mobility actors have gained mutual trust, pursue common projects in educational engineering and mobility, value and transmit the benefits of mobility in their professional and private circle.
