Date du début: 1 juin 2016, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Successful implementation of the mobility projects within the Leonardo da Vinci programme or the Erasmus+ programme and a very positive feedback from the project participants led us to the decision to take part in further activities of this kind. We want other student of the school to experience a two-week internship in companies abroad. The main objective of the project is to realize a mobility of 20 students of the European Business Academy in Decin to the British capital city London for a 14-day work experience. Within this mobility of the students in vocational education and training we expect students to improve particularly their professional and language skills during the stay. In order to achieve these aims students will be accommodated in British families and they will be employed in various London organisations in administrative positions or retail. The internship will lead to acquiring or improving students’ professional competences related to work on a PC, secretary work, administration or various kinds of correspondence. In retail students will learn how to deal with customers, accept or dispatch goods. According to the ECVET principles for both these fields specific units of learning outcomes have been defined, observance of these units will be included in the final evaluation of the project. The course of the practice in British firms will be monitored by the ADC College representatives, two teachers of our school and mentors from the receiving organisations. Among the planned project activities belong a specialized language and cultural preparatory course organized by the school before leaving for the internship and, after the return, the evaluation of the acquired knowledge and skills and their dissemination among other pupils and teachers of the school and the wide public. We suppose that successful completion of the work experience will motivate other students of the school who might want to take part in similar activities in the future. This experience and the Europass Mobility document should help all project participants succeed on the labour market and contribute to a higher level of education in the whole region.
