Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 31 déc. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This project has been developed with the aim of improving the quality of teaching of IT/ICT and general subjects (foreign languages - English and German) in the Complex of Technical Secondary Schools in Toruń. Through thorough evaluation the school specified in which areas of school performance there are needs to update knowledge and implement more dynamic ways of working with the student. This information is contained in an European School Development Plan (accessible in public domain). Therefore, the objective of the project is to enhance the quality of school work by updating teachers of foreign languages and IT/ICT subjects with the latest methods of working with students using software intended for educational purposes, and the computer peripheral devices. The project participants will be 5 teachers of foreign languages and IT/ICT subjects. All of these teachers have degrees in respective fields, teaching courses and numerous post-graduate studies, training courses etc. Language teachers also are the examiners of CKE external exams. Under this project, they will take part in trainings held in renowned training centers in Ireland, Germany and Malta. The teachers - while setting out their educational needs - also took into account the mutual complementarity of the trainings. These were chosen so as to ensure the widest possible range of the access to knowledge. The rules, mores and good practices of ZST assume mutual assistance, exchange of experience and information about trainings done by the teachers. It is expected that the project will improve the quality of teaching by raising the qualification of teaching staff. Ad hoc benefits will include: promotion of the school (dissemination of information about training), improved school enrollment (students choose the school where they can count on a well-prepared staff with open minds), an increase of interest of European projects among other teachers. Long-term benefits will also apply to the project participants themselves who will expand their knowledge, skills and competence. The aforementioned benefits will be noticeable both immediately, after the close of the project, as well as in a longer perspective.
