The project brings together 16 participant, teachers of the Upper Vocational and General Education Secondary School (ZSTiO). These are teachers of vocational subjects, specialists in educational profiles, technician of IT, electronics, mechanics/mechatronics, economics, surveying. The main need for this project was to show teachers the structure of education in other European countries, especially that the Polish system of vocational education undergoes profound changes, in which teachers are involved. Knowledge of teaching methods, curricula, equipment, laboratories, organisations and professional practice exams, co-operation with employers will help to shape a better strategy of the school and the process of education. The school participates in many European programmes, but the main beneficiary is the youth. The project should show that the educational mobility concerns all of us (students and teachers alike), that European schools become international, that there is only a matter of time to teach students not only using native language, especially as schools have to compete to intake good students. Objectives of the project derive directly from the needs of participants and institutions. The most important ones include improving the quality of school work through new solutions observed in the French, Czech, Norwegian and Portuguese colleagues, as well as learning about the different system of vocational education, improving the knowledge of foreign languages (English), including technical terminology, to encourage educational staff for greater cooperation of mobility programs in the area and to apply for individual grants, broadening the horizons of thinking, belief in their abilities. The aim is also to raise even more European dimension of school. Training will be held in vocational schools similar to Polish one in France (Brest), Czech Republic (Chomutov), Norway (Trysil) and Portugal (Lisbon). Every mobility will last five working days. The planned activities will be implemented in visits to the training institutions with curriculum similar to the subjects taught by the participants (computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electronics). Teachers will also visit the host companies employing students in different learning profiles. Mobility also implies understanding the cultural aspects of visiting regions. The training program was clarified with the host organization having extensive experience in implementing similar projects. The partners are well known to the applicant, some of them have cooperated with the applicant. Responsibilities of the applicant and the host schools are exactly specified. Participants are selected on defined stages of recruitment. The project coordinator and the evaluator ensure all the regularities. Selected participants attend language and cultural training before the start of mobility. The project involves the dissemination of results at local and regional level. Acquisition of new knowledge is supported by the issue of relevant documents (including the Europass Mobility).
