Our project takes place in the village of Zátor and one day takes place in the village of Lichnov, about 3 km away. Zátor is located in de Moravian-Silesian region between the cities of Krnov and Bruntál. The distance to the cities of Ostrava and Olomouc is 65 km, to Brno 145 km and to Prague 355 km. Zátor lies at the foothill of Jeseník. The type of project is longterm voluntary service.The project goals are: non formal education of volunteers and the setting-up of leisure activities for local children, which will be led by the volunteer under supervision of the project manager.Project themes: development of the country side thanks to the participation of the volunteer in activities, which are organized in co-operation with the village.Education of children by means of sports and outdoor activities, which také place at the vicarage and in the school gym. This project should run for 4 months - from May until the end of August. Both the Czech Republic and Slovakia are involved in this project. Number of volunteers: 1.Planned activities: interest group in the local school of Záchor and Lichnov, open low barier club at the vicarage of Zátor, visiting elderly people in the village.Occasional activities - tours and excursions with children, weekend stays of children at the vicarage.
