We three partner organizations have long specializes in working with excluded children and youth groups - children and young people from socially excluded families, Roma families, disabled children and youth. The vast majority of young adults are unemployed and in poverty. The aim of our project is to increase the key competencies of workers with youth, exchange of experience, good practice and mutual provision of know-how in the field of:- social work and prevention of psychological activity- improving social inclusion and employment- the development of active citizenship and critical thinking.Number of participants: 30 people – workers with youth. It is a staff and volunteers working with young people - educators, social rehabilitation instructors, social workers, working in individual psychological counseling and psychotherapy and psychological assessment, educators focusing on work with children and youth from poor and marginalized communities.Description of the activities and methodology:During the project we plan the mobility of workers with youth - all partner countries in the Slovak Republic. The activity will take the form of non-formal and informal learning. We will do one eight-day workshop during which we will devote to:1. Social work and prevention of psychological activities (topics - alcohol and drugs and their effects and impact, cyberbullying), solving problems and crises, efficient and meaningful leisure time spending (which sport, artistic and cultural activities can be used), in the form of presentations, discussions, role play.2. Employment of disadvantaged people - youth. The meeting will be filled by: successful solutions and finding new solutions in motivating children and youth to increase their educational level, manual skills, development and awakening their natural circumstances and abilities (eg. Even in sport, art), in the form of presentations, discussions and brainstorming . Participants will gain experience and know-how of their partners how to use, for example traditional techniques and subsistence system to improve the living standards of socially disadvantaged children and youth, in the form of workshops. How can the youth apply the knowledge, skills and abilities in getting a job, or in business.3. New and innovative methods in work with youth - in the field of environmental protection and volunteering. In new educational programs, participants will practice teaching skills and learn how to strengthen the youth creative approach to problem solving, critical thinking and increase civic participation.Description of the results and the expected impact:Completing the course participants will receive the knowledge and skills they will use when working with children and youth from poor and marginalized groups:- Increasing the professionalism of the prevention of psychological activities, gaining new skills in crisis management,- To gain knowledge in the use of educational - training programs of the prevention of psychological activities,- To gain knowledge how to use the manual skills of children and youth to improve their living situation,- How to improve the participation of children and youth in the running of the organization,- Become familiar with experiential learning in the field of environment and upbringing - educational programs, the use of which leads children and youth to creative problem solving, critical thinking and greater civic engagement. Then it will allow them to better social inclusion.Participants will in a participatory manner create Database of examples of good practice and for environmental education and active citizenship.The use of new features will make prevention of psychological activity more effective. New methods of education and training will help to improve the lives of children and youth. Better youth participation in the activities of organizations to increase their share of volunteering and that will create a space for critical thinking and civic engagement. Finally, it will increase the confidence of youth and improve their ability to integrate in society.
