The Duchess Izabela Czartoryska Lower Secondary School No 93 in Warsaw is the only one school with bilingual classes in Ursynow district. The project faces up the needs of improvement of language skills of most teachers in our school. We strongly want to upgrade and enrich the attractiveness of education process, especially in developing the bilingualism and knowledge of foreign languages which are taught at our school.Objectives of the project:1) to support the teachers' development ,2) to increase the teachers' skills in the use of foreign languages,3) to increase the subject teachers' skills in the use of English,4) to increase the fluency of language teachers, the subject teachers, 5) to get certificates to certify their knowledge of English,6) to diversify workshop,7) to refresh the knowledge of language,8) to refresh the knowledge of subjects,9) to increase motivation,10) to increase understanding of cultural diversity,11) to increase cooperation in international projects,12) to exchange experiences, especially in case of applying CLiL methodology,13) to work in more modern, high educated team,14) to improve the effectiveness of education through using more attractive and interesting forms of teaching materials,15) to get abilities of creating new study aids, mainly when you cannot find readymade materials,16) to increase the prestige of school.Activities:1. assessment of school needs;2. assessment of teachers' needs and possibilities;3. selection of teachers, designing and planning the training schedule;4. preparing the schedule of courses; 5. travel arrangements ( infos, making reservations, signing contracts, booking tickets, travel planning and insurance policies);6. participating in courses:- training in modern computer techniques for managers and teachers,- training in improving fluency of foreign languages,- training in methodology of foreign languages,- training in methodology of CLIL ;7. project evaluation (assessment indicators),8. Dissemination of knowledge (presentations, leaflets, handouts, website, printed materials).Results for the institution and for teachers:1) to improve school development,2) to get new qualifications,3) 3 to fill in the qualifications,4) to modernize the ways of teaching,5) to continue the international cooperation and establish new cooperation,6) to enhance the quality of teaching,7) to increase the number of subjects taught bilingually,8) to increase the offer of school trips;Long-term effects:9) to increase the number of certified teachers what is necessary in a school with bilingual classes,10) to establish long-term international cooperation,11) to increase the quality of teaching,12) to use the modern teaching techniques,13) to increase the multicultural awareness, what is necessary in modern world where many different conflicts make people to leave their country and come to Poland,14) to increase the teachers’ satisfaction.
