There is also going to be a lecture on the Education System, a day visit to State Schools, a workshop on life in Britain,
3. training other teachers on the topics mentioned above,
4. making contacts with teachers from different European countries and do a project with them
Context of the project:
Students in primary schools are pretty motivated to learning English. They are eager to take part in English lessons, collect stamps for being active, prepare posters. However, the situation changes a bit later on. In junior secondary schools, they somehow lose their willingness to studying. There can be a few reasons: their difficult age of adolescence, but also the way of giving lessons by teachers. In their childhood teachers were repeating words for a few lessons, they played more games, read shorter texts. The situation has changed, they are asked to study more at home, teachers speak a lot, too much, there is not much place for moving - kinesthetic way of learning and additionally many students from Zespół Szkół are from poor families, parents do not help them, they often have to rely on their own. This is the reason of why we want to change our lessons, we want to give students more fun at school not only 'speak', we want to show them that the world gives them many possibilities and the only thing they have to do is to try. They can look at their English teacher, who takes part in programmes from European Union. They can also visit foreign countries if they help their teacher in preparing a project.
Description of what is going to be done:
We want one of our teachers to take part in the workshops 'Creative Activities and Motivating Materials for the Secondary Classroom' and train others after coming back.

Our teacher is going to talk to other teachers from our school and prepare a list of questions, she will ask to teacher trainers on the course.
After coming back, we want Ms Kwiatkowska to talk about what she saw and learnt, train interested teachers on creative activities and motivating materials.
The teacher will also present interesting information on the region she visited to students.
She will write an article about the course, which will appear on the school's Internet website.
We hope, that the course will influence school's positive image, students will get more interesting lessons, which will make them forget about their problems.
