The experience and knowledge gained during courses were used by teachers to modify their teaching plans and to create their own programme especially in the area of maths and science. The participation in the project helped teachers to develop their teaching competence , inspired them to look for international partners and cooperate with them. Moreover, the project gave teachers the possibility to share their experience in face to face contact or via eTwinning.
The project contributed to change and adopt an attitude of openness to share knowledge and to disseminate good practice – and in this term became a chance for both personal and institutional development of teachers and schools.
Ten teachers, mainly maths and science ( chemistry, geography, physics) and foreign language and the humanities, participated in this project. Seventeen mobilities were carried out. Teachers participated in training course on ICT technology on Malta ( “The empowerment in ICT skills- making use of technology tools”), studied educational systems in European countries, focusing on Finnish one, methods of support talented students as well as students with special needs, observed lessons in finnish schools ( training course “ Best Practices Benchmarking” – Finland). Teachers participated in training course “ Where are we on the way, Europe?”( Finland)- where they increased their knowledge on research tools using in PISA tests and how to use them to create own tools for testing students’ competences. Teachers got to know the system of training of maths teachers in Finland. The last training “ How to make your school more international? “- took place in Spain. During it, teachers participated in lectures, debates and worked in groups. They got know good practices related to internationalism carried out in European schools.
